Reasons for deployment in South China Sea

1) It will send a clear message not only to China, but to the whole world that India is capable facing any nation.

2) In case of escalation all trade routes of China can be closed as most of Chinese cargo travels through the South China Sea.

3) Chinese navy could be stopped from entering Indian waters well before hand.

4) Prevention of Chinese invasion on the nearby countries such as Taiwan, Phillipines and Vietnam.
